Hi Carolyn, thank you for your fab four star feedback and I am so pleased you love the cards you make from your craftsuprint purchases.
We would love to do away with the minimum charge but unfortunately it would be detrimental to the site. We are a multi designer site and have to pay the artists who design these beautiful sheets a commission. On a kit costing £1.20 we pay the designer 52p, we pay crafters 7p commission for showcasing their finished cards, we pay 20p to the Government in the way of VAT and then we have to pay nochex 20p to process every credit card transaction and Lloyds TSB 14p to receive the payment.
So you see it really wouldn't be worth selling just one design. We also offer paypal at checkout and they too have high fees. We have running costs just like any other business and we give so much back to the community in the way of prizes and free gifts. If did away with the minimum order we could very quickly go bust.
Have you ever thought about using the wishlist feature? Over time you could add single designs that you like to your wishlist and then when you have over £5 checkout.
