I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Our claims processing is usually pretty quick with greater than 40% of claims received being approved and paid within 4 business days. It may take up to 10 business days to process additional information that comes in however. The policy does cover flight cancellations but only under certain circumstances as usually the airline is responsible for technical problems cancellations etc and we do cover emergency overseas medical (unless an existing medical condition). I am sorry to hear about your experience. Most claims turn around within 10 business days. It sounds pretty unusual for a claim to take that long to gather the information, although complicated cases may take a little longer than 10 business days. A claim is always paid if it fits within the policy wording and is only denied if it's not a coverable event.
