The e-mail you received ‘Double Check Your Cover’ is not designed to upsell you anything - it’s designed to clarify what you’ve chosen to cover on your policy so that you’re fully informed, and helps us to ensure you’ve chosen a policy that meets your demands and needs. In particular it highlights the importance of having declared any pre-existing medical conditions, what’s included in optional enhanced Trip Disruption Cover and if you’ve included gadget cover. These three cover areas are the most common ones that result in denied claims (ie. declined hospital costs while travelling), or claim dissatisfaction (ie. declined costs for trip disruption only covered under the optional cover). By highlighting these options we aim to ensure customers aren’t left un, or under insured when they most need us.
