However, as you specifically requested a central Chippenham pickup point, this fell outside our standard arrangement and a reduced pickup charge of £20 per person was applied to accommodate your request. While the driver may have travelled through Chippenham on the day, we are unable to arrange pickups based on a coach's planned route, as timings and routes can vary and are often subject to operational requirements. For this reason, we could not guarantee a central Chippenham collection when your booking was made. I appreciate this may still have been disappointing, particularly given the additional taxi expense you incurred, but I hope this helps explain why the arrangements were made as they were.
