Thanks for your time today and apologise for for the problems with delivery. As discussed today noise level is hard to explain to people as people conceive it differently. I would compare the noise of this fridge with quiet fans to be just above the noise level of the fridge in my kitchen but in hindsight, the fridge in your kitchen could be a lot quieter. It's a bit tricky because you like the fridge and are happy with it, other than the noise level and I really don't think you will get anything quieter unless you went for a non compressor fridge. I did like your ideas of acoustic insulation in the cupboard, maybe give that a try and let me know how you go. Please let me know if I can help you further. Thanks for your time today. As we discussed these fridges run around 50 Decibels which is about the noise of a fan forced oven. Glass door fridges do have to work harder than your normal household fridge and also this fridge is an alfresco fridge so it needs to be heavy duty to deal with Australia's extreme temperatures. We do try and make people aware of this, noise is a tricky thing as people perceive it differently. I liked your suggestion about insulating the cupboard your building. Hopefully this will help.
