We appreciate the time you have taken to leave your feedback. Across the Irish Insurance Industry, premiums have risen due to a number of factors. A sustained increase in the number of personal injury claims, higher court awards, and the collapse of Setanta Insurance, have all contributed to this.

At AXA we are dedicated to keeping our expenses down, using cost effective vehicle repairers and fighting fraud. However, personal injury claims are very high, and despite our on-going efforts to minimise cost, all premiums have gone up this year.

I'm really sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the discussion you had regarding both your home and car renewals.

Unfortunately, there has been an increase in premiums across the insurance industry due to a number of reasons, including rising claims costs and high court awards. The majority of customers across all companies are seeing price increases as a result.

 At AXA we try our best to minimise these increases, while still offering a great product to suit our customers needs.　

The value of your vehicle does not affect your renewal premium with AXA however we do use other factors such as make, model and car group etc.
