We are very sorry that you have had a poor experience. Please be assured that your artwork was packaged carefully by the artist, LM Clarke (Leslie) He has had many years experience in packaging his work for despatch with no previous problems, using two double layers of industrial board, bubble wrap, corner protectors and further packing.Transit to USA arranged through Parcel Hero, with UPS, a reputable courier, nominated as courier.UPS collected the painting on 13th April 2016. Their tracking showed ‘In Transit” in the normal way. The artwork was delivered back to the artists address badly damaged on the 23rd April.We informed you of the unfortunate situation on the same day, with our apologies and an offer of full refund or replacement work, whilst also liaising closely with the artist on the potential bespoke replacement artwork.The new painting is now complete ( prior to varnish ) We will be sending images for your perusal and decision as whether to proceed or refund.Leslie is currently building a strengthened wooden crate with metals bars and corners. He describes it as armoured.A different courier has been prepared and will be organised for despatch should you be happy with the new work.We hope to return to the happy experience prior to initial transit.We will be in touch again later today.
