Often these are manufactured without any forestry regeneration guarantees and framed with non sustainable wood from unsustainable forests. Our mid range canvases are triple primed, acid free (so as not to discolour with age) 350gms heavier weight canvas, never leaving tacks visible and the frames are made from trees re-grown in sustainable forestry in Europe.
We take our sustainability responsibilities seriously. We cannot find a canvas manufacturer that matches all of these criteria at a lower price. If we are able to do so at any time then we will also offer that range. Thank you again for your input.
