Thank you for taking the time to write a review Mr Dutton. Following your letter of 25th June, we did respond by telephone and email to address the above concerns. To summarise this correspondence, there was confusion over the buyer being referred to as a ‘cash buyer’ (not being reliant on a mortgage) and this being taken to mean that the buyer had no related sale. In fact, there was always a chain involved and there were various conversations and updates provided in relation to this chain throughout the transaction. The sale did ultimately complete at a strong price (relative to other sales at the time) albeit a prolonged process, which is often the case with leasehold retirement apartments. We again apologise for any failings to effectively communicate with you during the sale but would stress that you were at no point intentionally misled. Nonetheless, we take on board the comments you have made and of course wish you the very best for the New Year.
