Hi David, Thank you for your lovely review. Yes, I remember questioning this with you, but sometimes things don't look "quite" right and I always ask because at the end of the day we want your bags to be at the correct place on the correct day just as much as you do! I have learnt over the 10 years I have been running Luggage Transfers that things can quite quickly go wrong if incorrect dates or destinations are accidentally given to us by the walkers at the enquiry stage..... so now I take no chances! Hi David, Thank you for your kind review. We do value feedback from all our walkers. I am pleased that we helped you as we did and that the dodgy knee is now well on the way to getting better. In reply to your comment on the reverse charge... we still do have it.. you may not have noticed it because your walk this year was on one of the cheaper parts of the path for transfers, where there are no rivers and estuaries. We make this reverse charge of £2 per transfer because 99.9% of walkers walk in the Minehead to Poole direction so when we have one going the other way the driver simply turns round and takes the bags on a journey of their own! Its not always the case that it is a return way back home for the driver.... Speedy recovery and hope to see you on the path again, if not the SWCP, then the Pembrokeshire Path. Sue .
