Very nervy - I paid an extra £7 to have the assurance that we could amend or cancel at no charge and then the company has the audacity to charge another 99 pence for it at the end of the booking - ...

Flexible parking options can be cancelled up until a week prior to your arrival, though it is possible to extend the flexibility further so that you can cancel your booking up until 24 hours prior to your arrival. This further extension is of course optional.
