We are of course disappointed that the villa did not live up to your expectations and also that you were unlucky with the weather. We do say in the description “In terms of decoration and furnishings, this holiday villa may be deemed a bit dated. “ and we would not class this as one of our luxury villas. We will contact the owner on your behalf to pass on your feedback which does help owners improve aspects of their rental when constructive criticism is passed on.
We would have been glad to intervene if you had let us know on arrival that things weren’t to your satisfaction thus giving the owner a chance to put a few things right immediately, especially where cleaning was an issue, and warmer bedding, thus making your stay more enjoyable. We will liaise with the owner to make sure high standards are maintained, and update the directions to the villa.
