As FusionReactor is a Java agent integrated within the JVM, it shares the same heap space, which can lead to limitations if the JVM runs out of memory i.e. if your JVM dies, FusionReactor will die along with it.
To mitigate such scenarios and enhance monitoring efficiency, FusionReactor offers alert configurations that can notify you before the heap space is fully utilized. Setting up an early warning system for heap memory can help preempt critical issues, allowing for timely intervention before a system crash occurs. We recommend utilizing these alerting features to avoid such disruptions in the future. These are available both in the on-premise and cloud versions.
