I have to say I had a similar problem with these - I think it's because there's some weight at the other end of the pole! We use ours on its shortest setting all the time now! I hope you are managing with it anyway, and will pass your comments on about the misleading photo. Kind Regards Debbie

We waited ages for the product to arrive but it seems that Yodel had lost it. Nobody knew what had happened or where it was, so another was sent. When it arrived, it was all we expected.
