Unfortunately, the required age of any device being insured with Tinhat is clearly stated in the important information section in which customers must agree to before a policy can be purchased online.

In this section it clearly states the following:

To be entitled to cover under this insurance you must confirm the following to be true:

• My gadget was bought in the UK in the last 12 months

However, as your device was not eligible for cover, I have now submitted you a refund for the one-month premium that was collected from account.

Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you, unfortunately I can’t find any refence to a query in which we failed to respond to you, however, if you would like to forward on your query to sales@tinhat.co.uk I will endeavour to answer your questions swiftly and to the best of my ability.

After having looked in to your policy I can see you called and spoke to one of my colleagues in our sales department. You requested your policy be cancelled and I can see your request was actioned adequately and the email confirmation of this action was sent to you the same day.
