Hi Jack, Thanks a lot for your feedback, and for choosing Ticker. We’re always working on how we can make the Ticker experience better for our customers. The connection by Bluetooth is how we make the box so easy to set up and we use your phone’s connection with it to transfer your driving data to us. That means no wires, no fitting appointment and no fuss. Just to hopefully set your mind at ease, the app uses a minimal amount of mobile data and should affect your data plan very little. If your phone runs out of charge, the box stores the data and transfers it the next time your phone connects by Bluetooth. We do try to make this clear before you buy your policy, but it’s always good to get feedback.
