Nothing too much trouble. We had a slight problem with a restaurant bill when we were out in Sal. The rep couldn't do enough to put it right and in the end the company itself made good our loss....
I am glad you liked the location and views from the hotel but sorry you felt the room was tired and in need of additional cleaning and had no privacy. Had you mentioned these issues to our rep during your stay, she would have tried to help resolve them for you and perhaps asked about trying to move you to a different room if necessary.
Your comments regarding the receptionists and housekeeping have been forwarded to the General Manager and she will also take on board your comments regarding the food.
Hotel service levels and standards in Cape Verde cannot be compared with those in other destinations and we use our own ratings system which is based on our customers’ feedback and the standards of accommodation throughout the islands. The hotel is a 4.5 grade property and our most popular on Sal, so it’s disappointing there were a few areas which you felt could be improved.

the rep was absolute rubbish ..she never attended the hotel ... my wife and myself have been to such a poor hotel ( 30 years of overseas hotels ) .. this company are not to be trusted ....

Thanks for your feedback although we were surprised by your comments since no complaint was made to our representative despite her visiting the hotel 5 days a week and being available to telephone at any time. You haven’t stated what was wrong and the only issue logged with the hotel was a problem with your air-conditioning unit which we understand was repaired.
The Iberostar is one of our most popular hotels with our customers and also scores highly on Feefo and Tripadvisor. So sorry you were clearly disappointed on this occasion.
