Hi James, Thank you so much for taking time to submit your feedback. We are very sorry that you had a problem with your flight check-in at Gatwick. We understand how frustrating and stressful that must have been for you. After investigating the issue and talking to the airline. It looks like there was a delay in updating their system with your name after we made your booking. You were on the flight manifest but not on the system that the check in staff use. Your flight was of course always booked. We are glad that you called our 24hr Emergency number and that our team was able to sort it out quickly with the airline duty office who directly identified the issue. We are happy that you were able to board your flight on time without any further trouble. As far as we can see, your check-in on the flight home at Hurghada airport went smoothly and without any issue. We sincerely apologise for this unfortunate start on your holiday. We hope that you enjoyed the rest of your trip and had a wonderful time in the Red Sea.

Dear Chris I really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. I’m sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our communication and service. The week you were on had an unusually large amount of flight changes in the month leading up to your flight. Our flight team have tried to find out why and we believe it was due to the airline trying maximise their capacity over easter. We apologise for the inconvenience and confusion this created, but please be assured that this is very rare and not normal. When it comes to day use we had at the time of your holiday not found many hotels that are willing to offer day use to the standard we and our guests expect. Our team is working with local day use suppliers to solve this and we recently had two members of staff looking at new options. We hope to be able to offer a better priced alternative in the nearby future. On the day you were departing a decision was made whilst you were out at sea to give all guests free day use curtesy of Scuba Travel. As we can see from your feedback this was clearly not communicated very well and this is something that we have taken onboard and if a similar situation were to arise again we will make sure that it is communicated better.
