Unless you have drained your pool and started again, the PoolSan cs liquid (which does not evaporate like chlorine) continues to work alongside the chlorine you have added. Rest assured this is safe and PoolSan cs will not form any reaction by-products with chlorine. It will continue to synergistically work with the chlorine. We apologise for this. A batch of our test strips were not functioning as they were supposed to be. This was identified quickly, and as far as we are aware, free of charge replacements were sent to all affected users. Always easy to deal with and they post very quickly.
Very happy with the products and this will be our 3rd year of using it for our pool in the summer time.
