Yes, we agree. Because we're a broker, we try to offer as many different policy and payment options as possible. In your case, the most competitive policy we found was from a insurer that, unfortunately, doesn't offer interest-free instalments. That meant we had to use a third party finance provider instead. They charge a minimum £50 setup fee for all their agreements, regardless of premium. In cases like yours, where premiums are low, this represents a significant extra cost and we'll advise against it. We know it's not ideal but, regrettably, we can't do anything about the finance company's charge.
