We understand that on designs which have a medium/large repeat, our standard size samples (5 inch square approx) do not show a great deal of the actual design or component colours. They do show the general texture and handle, but sometimes not much of the design is visible. We can however advise that we have taken on board customer comments and have now started cutting larger format samples on all fabrics with a substantial design content. This process will take a while to implement but will apply to all new fabrics we launch with immediate effect, and to our existing range over the coming weeks. Although this increases our sampling costs, we feel sure that customers will appreciate this move on our part as it should make the decision making process more straightforward.
