'It is your money' enabled me to claim a substantial sum of money back in compensation from an AVC first sold to me by a Crown representative in the mid 1990s shortly after starting work as a teacher. If it had not been the advert I saw on Facebook I would never have made an enquiry. I had very little information I could give Its Your Money about my initial AVC but they were able to pursue it. I was clear from the outset that Its Your Money fees were effectively a hefty 40% but reasoned my 60% would be more than I would get if I left it or tried to go about it myself.
