I should have got a second quote

I couldn't help feeling I've been swindled. £ I am 80 years old and partially sighted and felt very vulnerable. I was happy about the job but don't know whether the price was right or not

The engineer always carries out a free survey (no call out charge) then advises on price with no obligation before any work is carried out. Its the customers decision if they wish to proceed, we happy to just leave a quote for you to think about it or get alternative quotes. We have now checked back with our management team and the engineer who visited your property. The OAP discount was indeed applied. Also, prices are somewhat different to what they were 20 years since you last had similar work. The engineer also gave feedback that he thought you were genuinely pleased with the work completed when everything was back up and running. Please keep your receipt safe as that will serve as your guarantee. The 1 star is obviously disappointing but we respect your comments. We wish you all the best sir.
