While we appreciate that hotel standards can be subjective, it's worth noting that the star rating is awarded by the relevant Portuguese tourism authority following their own inspection criteria, rather than by ourselves. We also understand that some aspects of your stay, such as security deposits for potential room damage, are relatively common practice in Portugal and many other European destinations, although we appreciate this may come as an unwelcome surprise if you haven't encountered it before. Good to get away.

Unavoidable delay due to crew sickness but we got there in the end. The direct flight makes such a huge difference to the holiday.

Nice flight even if we did have a 3 hour delay leaving due to staff sickness but that can't be helped and didnt spoil our holiday as we were with friends

Thank you for your review, we're sorry to hear you were disappointed on this occasion. Whilst our aircraft has a 2+2 seating layout, passenger numbers on each booking are not always even, meaning that on some flights passengers may occasionally be seated separately. Depending on availability, our check-in team may be able to assist with seat changes on the day if requested. Regarding Palma Airport, passengers are required to clear both security and passport control before accessing the departure gate area. We appreciate your comments and will consider whether additional guidance for customers may be helpful. Its lovely to hear you still managed to enjoy the flight, staff on-board and refreshments and we hope that you choose to book with FlyDirect in the near future..

Thank you for your feedback, in your pre-departure paperwork we provide all the information with regards to pre-booked transfers. In Majorca these are managed by TUI and a representative would of been available to help and direct you to the correct transfer. If there was an issue with this, we also provide an emergency telephone number for our clients to call and we could of advised on what to do on the telephone. I am sorry to hear that you had issues upon your arrival into Palma and obtaining your transfer, we hope that doesn't stop you from booking with FlyDirect on another occasion
