I like the product offer to get peace of mind with the reduced excess, but luckily I didn't yet have to file a claim so I can't vouch for that part.

Non-resident cover

I haven't claimed so cannot comment on their effectiveness as an insurer. However, they were one of the few to offer cover to non-UK residents.
