booked what i thought was a 2 x double bed studio at a caravan park to find out i only booked a powered site upon arrival. It was lucky they had spare rooms so i could upgrade.

It was better when you could see hotels in a grid with dates. In this design you don't see the hotels rates, etc. It was far easier to compare different hotels at a glance.
