They pull the structure together but the dowels do need to be well aligned.

Fit well and the bag is ideal for handling by young grandson who was 'helping'!

All the blocks fitted well and the final effect with the different lengths not only gave a very stable structure but looks good and makes a positive addition to the garden.

one mitre was fine but the other was slightly off but nothing important or visually significant.

Couple of damaged ends - not enough for me to want the hassle of complaining and organising returns and re-delivery etc, but enough to irritate me.

Capping all required a lot of persuasion to fit on top.

Bit fiddly to get flat on the wood.

One was too long so I took a wood saw to it so now I have a small gap. It all fit together like lego apart from that one piece.
