How are Feefo reviews collected?

We independently collect feedback on behalf of the businesses that work with us. Our platform only reaches out to verified buyers, so you can be sure you’re reading reviews from real customers.

Who can leave a Feefo review?

Only customers with proof of purchase can leave a Feefo review. We ensure this by reaching out to buyers straight after their transaction.

How do we verify reviews?

We verify that reviews are from genuine customers by matching them to a sale or transaction. People are only invited to leave a review after purchasing from the business.

How do we deal with fake reviews?

Feefo prevents people from leaving fake reviews because we only invite verified buyers to give feedback.

Lovely flat; little touches matter

Lovely flat, sparking clean. We liked the little touches like the tray of teas and coffees, the high quality chocolate etc. It was great to be met at the door and shown round, rather than having to...

What Alexia Maycock said about UnderTheDoormat:

Great place but hold on to your deposit for 2 weeks after you leave!!

4 days to confirm I’d get my £500 deposit back and 2 weeks later still not got it. It’s been decades since it’s taken a bank 2 weeks to transfer money.

Good afternoon Ms. Maycock, thank you for leaving your feedback here. Our team will be in touch via email at bookings@underthedoormat.com to discuss the details of this situation. In this instance, I can see a delay was caused by our Payment Provider however we do have the ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) that you can give to your bank so that they can track the funds back into your account. I will be in touch about this shortly. Should you have any other feedback about the home, please let us know so that we can pass this back to the owner. We of course apologise profusely for the delay and would relish the opportunity to host you again to showcase the best that UnderTheDoormat has to offer. Best wishes and kind regards, James on behalf of UnderTheDoormat

We never heard back from you however I can see from our payment provider that the refund was successful. If you could confirm and let us know that this is correct that would be extremely helpful so that we can close this off for you. Looking forward to hearing from you! Best wishes and kind regards, James on behalf of UnderTheDoormat
