Cortni, clearly you didn't read my comment. I did not say I had a problem with the hotel charging gratuity on the full value of the deal. In fact I specifically said I am ok with charging automatic gratuity on vouchers. What I said was that it is unacceptable that they charged gratuity on the TAX. I even wrote TAX in capital letters so there would be no confusion.

The hotel and checkin was excellent the restraunt was good.
Great price per night for this very nice local motel in hailey ID. I love the idea that is place is not owned by a chain. They even offered a different kind of soup each night we were there
Travelzoo needs to look at the locations they have deals with. This Resturant was in a industrial area in a bad part of town. I passed two junkyards on my way down the street.
