Hello - many thanks for your feedback, we really do appreciate hearing from people. Our postage (and packing) is a blanket charge irrespective of what you purchase. The postage is only a small proportion of he cost of despatching goods - the hardbacked envelope which protected your labels costs more than £1, then your goods are carefully wrapped by hand in tissue paper as we feel that this adds to the excitement of getting a delivery from thisisnessie. We are charged by Royal Mail for them to come and pick up all the packages every day and for orders over £75 there is no charge for any of this. I am sure you will appreciate that there is a balancing act going on here - we also have to consider the easiest and most transparent way to calculate postage on our website. We have in the past used a system that works out the weight of an order and charges postage accordingly. That worked perfectly until Royal Mail introduced shape as a factor! In the end we decided that having a single pricepoint for postage that we can advertise up front before any purchase is committed to was the best way. The only anomaly seems to be cases like yours where the order consists of labels and nothing more, although once staff costs, label printing, packaging and so on have been taken into account the difference is probably a little less than £1.
