How are Feefo reviews collected?

We independently collect feedback on behalf of the businesses that work with us. Our platform only reaches out to verified buyers, so you can be sure you’re reading reviews from real customers.

Who can leave a Feefo review?

Only customers with proof of purchase can leave a Feefo review. We ensure this by reaching out to buyers straight after their transaction.

How do we verify reviews?

We verify that reviews are from genuine customers by matching them to a sale or transaction. People are only invited to leave a review after purchasing from the business.

How do we deal with fake reviews?

Feefo prevents people from leaving fake reviews because we only invite verified buyers to give feedback.

HI David, good to chat to you just now. I think this may have been added by mistake so I would be grateful if you could update. We look forward to having you to stay next April in Dunster. Chris :)

I thought the email I received was from one of these annoying survey people and as I had not yet been to the property I have booked it seemed irrelevant. Now I have spoken to Chris, who explained that it is a family business and I was being aslked about the booking service, I am very happy to give it a top rating and also impressed with the personal call to sort this out. Thanks

Lovely Village of Porlock

The Best of Exmoor website was easy to use when booking the accommodation and the booking Calender was a brilliant idea to see other accommodation at the same time and helped to decide where to stay....

An okay place to stay but not perfect.

Comfortable cottage. No hot water in taps and shower, though hot was blocked drain. Was not made aware that garden was shared with cafe and owner rather present, so hideaway and seclusion it was not.
