Every fabric we sell is designed for upholstery use and as such must comply with flammability regulations. In the vast majority of cases this involves the application of a backcoating to the fabric. The coating can be lighter or heavier depending on the construction and type of fabric being coated. We make every effort to try and ensure that coatings are as unobtrusive as possible, as this makes the fabric easier to work with.
