We independently collect feedback on behalf of the businesses that work with us. Our platform only reaches out to verified buyers, so you can be sure you’re reading reviews from real customers.

Who can leave a Feefo review?

Only customers with proof of purchase can leave a Feefo review. We ensure this by reaching out to buyers straight after their transaction.

How do we verify reviews?

We verify that reviews are from genuine customers by matching them to a sale or transaction. People are only invited to leave a review after purchasing from the business.

How do we deal with fake reviews?

Feefo prevents people from leaving fake reviews because we only invite verified buyers to give feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to send us this information Mr & Mrs Spiewakowski. Feedback is essential for us to understand and improve the experience of our customers. It’s particularly important for me personally to understand the complete experience of each customer and, having spoken with the team who worked on your behalf, I appreciate it wasn’t a simple buying process in this case.

I know Stephanie and the team worked tirelessly to progress not just your Home for Life purchase, but also the sale of your own property, and were able to work to tight deadlines in all areas. I believe there were a few hurdles along the way that were out of our hands, but I know the team did everything they could to help you through this.

Unfortunately, the vendor of your chosen property passed away during the sale and I understand there were challenges obtaining Probate. This can of course slow the sale but fortunately you weren’t on your own with this and had the Sales Progression team to help liaise with the solicitors for all parties. Also, as your buyer wasn’t financially ready to exchange I believe this caused issues with the chain, but again the team were able to resolve this for you.

You mentioned being unhappy with the price negotiated and I’d like to know a little more about this if I may? Could you send me an overview via email to service@homewise.co.uk? Our in-house property experts conducted a thorough due diligence process, including comparing current market prices and area research, to prepare the offer accordingly and I understand the vendor had a number of offers on the property so I’m keen to understand any upset here. As with any house purchase, the Lifetime Owner (you) must agree to the purchase price before any sale is agreed so please let me know if this was not the case.
