Hi Sharon, thank you for this great review. Sizing can always be a bit tricky from a manufacturers perspective. We have to make sure we please as many customers as possible but we still sometimes get told that our mitts are too big or too small. We do like to make sure that little one has plenty of room inside the mitts so that they don't consistently have to have their hands in a fist and can move their hands freely. unfortunately this can then sometimes look big from the outside.
