Hi Dominique, thanks for taking the time to write this. We can appreciate that the Gummee Glove isn't for everybody. We have purposely put the teethers where they are for 2 main reasons. The first reason is very important, as the baby is using the teethers mainly for pain relief and the harder they can chew down on the teether the more satisfying it is for the baby. Secondly it can be a great teaching tool for eye-hand co-ordination, this really helps babies development.
