With salary sacrifice vehicles, the car is leased by the employer rather than the individual driver. For this reason, a fleet policy is the most appropriate insurance cover, ensuring the vehicle is insured correctly and protecting the business if a claim occurs. A fleet policy provides the right level of protection, whereas a personal policy could create complications in the event of a claim.
