It was very difficult to cancel reservations as I never knew if I had booked thru an travel agency or tour group - when it looked to me that I was booking directly thru the airlines.

I know it's little comfort, but the 'no refund on cancellation' policy of BA is the same whether you book direct or through an agency. If you think you may have a claim against your insurance, do let us know and we'll send you a cancellation invoice. Matthew, Customer Services
