Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry to hear that you're unhappy.
All insurers apply specific product eligability criteria and also a maximum sum insured, thereby ensuring the premium charged is accurate. If the maximum value was higher, the overall premium would be higher.
A maximum vehicle retail value is applied as some vehicles over £50k tend to attract a much higher CDW excess, which the customer is responsible for in the event of accidental damage and so may not be covered by the policy. The Gold product has maximum indemnity amount of £50k so would not exceed to the value of the hire vehicle.
