We're very glad to hear you enjoyed this pretty walk along the Welsh coastline.Tide times are a tricky variable on this particular walk, and we provide a run-down of the situation (along with a link to tide times) under "Useful Information" for each itinerary. Ultimately there's almost always a degree of compromise either over dates or taking at least one of the detours, and we regret that your outcome wasn't ideal. I'll definitely pass on the information about that left-right mixup, and hope your suggestion about Marloes Sands proves useful to future walkers!
