The guidebook has been recently updated to avoid two areas of erosion, and while one of these detours matches our longterm suggestion exactly, the other is slightly different. We expect that's the section that's caused some confusion! We will certainly look into making these options clearer (or, more likely, replacing our diversion with the one in the guidebook).
