Across the Irish Insurance Industry, premiums have risen due to a number of factors. A sustained increase in the number of personal injury claims, higher court awards, and the collapse of Setanta Insurance, have all contributed to this.

At AXA we are dedicated to keeping our expenses down, using cost effective vehicle repairers and fighting fraud. However, personal injury claims are very high, and despite our on-going efforts to minimise cost, all premiums have gone up this year.

That's still not my problem. If tesco closed down would the prices go up in aldi? No. I only worry about my own insurance, if scammers are fleecing the industry go after them not people who have never claimed....

Pleasant efficient staff, swift service, too expensive.

My premiums have increased by far more than I can afford. I am a long standing customer with only a couple of minor claims on my record. No claims on my house insurance.
