Stephane, by design, we maintain our Organic Maine Certified Seed Potatoes in a dormant condition to maximize vigor. The result is productive plants which provide the best performance and yields. As described in the 'Organic Potato Growing Guide' sent with your order, warming the seed tubers up to 70-75oF for a few days will get them to break dormancy and get them ready for planting. Every seed tuber we send is capable of growing a strong plant and delivering a healthy and big potato crop. I'm certain the seed we grew and sent will do well for you. However, as has been our practice for 35 years, we do guarantee your satisfaction.
