Hi Andrea, In the Planting Instructions we sent with your order, we caution that for best results our Onion transplants should be planted promptly. So the quicker the better! If for some reason you are unable to plant right away, Onions should be 'heeled into' the soil and kept well-watered. Then be sure to plant out in the garden as soon as possible. As we try to make clear in our 'Organic Potato Growing Guide' sent with your order, we advise our customers to warm seed tubers up before planting, and for best results avoid planting seed potatoes until sprouts are visible growing in the eyes (this is indication that dormancy has been broken and tubers are ready to plant). We specialize in providing superior, vigorous Organic Seed Potatoes for highest yields. Warming tubers ahead of planting (in the Spring even 3 days is a big help) because we manage our seed to prolong dormancy and maximize vigor. The seed you planted will give you a nice crop. It will just take longer for emergence than had you warmed up the seed before you planted. All the best in your garden!
