There appeared to be minimal communication between the insurers and the underwriters. In the early stages, it wasn't clear who I should contact and information given to one didn't appear to be passed...

Many thanks for your feedback. We have passed your comments onto our claims manager and our underwriters who are both disappointed that your claim did not run as smoothly as it should have done. This is not our normal level of service and it is always helpful when we are provided with feedback so we can continually improve our service.
