No solution to product incompatibility
Could not resolve the issue, still no solution or support on the issue. Apparently Software packages made by the same company do not work together for a main purpose of revision control

Thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience with our technical support team. I’ve reviewed the situation to gain clarity. Unfortunately, as explained by our technical support representative, although the SOLIDWORKS Electrical software can export DWG file types, this file type is not a native file format. DWG files can be edited using another software like DraftSight, the edits and revisions applied would not tie back to the SOLIDWORKS Electrical project and would remain independent. Although TriMech technical support cannot provide an out-of-the-box solution for this challenge, we can recommend submitting an Enhancement Request to SOLIDWORKS via the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to request this type of functionality to be implemented in future releases of the software.
