Hi there,

Thank you so much for leaving a very honest and detailed review, this is the kind of information we need to better serve our customers. I know I worked with you on this order and have since investigated and improved our system to prevent this happening again and I'll explain :)

All our designers always get the orders placed through our website. The order will be available when they login to their dashboard (just like there own website) and designers also get an email notification when they receive an order (just like their own websites). A designer could receive an order and simply forget about it accidentally.

However, from investigating this order, the designer had manually turned off the functionality to receive email notifications when she received orders and had not logged into her dashboard for 2 weeks - this could of been an accident.

The fix was super simple - we've now turned off the ability not to receive email notifications moving forward every designer will receive orders in their dashboard, also receive an email and have to physically login and accept an order with 3 days (considering weekends).

We have also launched a facility where you can message any designer directly on our website where we can still safely intervene of you ever need us to support you on an order. This button can be found at the bottom of every product description.

Unfortunately, the element of human error can always occur wherever you place an order as there are real humans working hard to make jewellery at the over end that can forget they received orders but we hope by implementing this new solution based on your recent order with us, if they have to physically accept the order, The Pommier can automatically intervene at the earliest convenience before you even know about it and put our customer service skills to work.

Your feedback has been super important to us in this case as we all grow together to better serve our customers and of course, if you ever need us you can contact us at anytime.

Order arrived too late - very disappointed
Delivery too late - over 3 weeks. No notification of delay when I placed the order. Had to pay for return next day postage through no fault of my own. Very poor service, will not use again.

Sorry to hear you was not happy with the timeframe on your order.

I have passed your comments over to the designer so they are aware and can better improve their service to you.

All of our designers list the time frames it takes them to hand make each order in the description of the products. In this case, it takes 2 to 3 weeks to make and dispatch items.

If you ever need anything quicker, you can hit the green button in the description which says "contact designer" to get confirmation on a speedier shipping time frame than listed.

At the time of placing my order, The Pommier website stated dispatch of item "can take UP TO 2 weeks". Due to the actual dispatch being delayed by over 3 weeks, The Pommier apologised for the delay by email saying, and I quote, "She (designer) is going to change the expected production times on this particular product as it was unexpected for her on how long it's taking". The Pommier have since changed the wording on their website to reflect the longer dispatch times. Again, I say it's very poor service. In particular, that Le Pommier would not cover the cost of returning this item to the seller as it arrived too late for the purpose.
