We are sorry but what you are saying is untrue, we put the stickers on the outside of the boxes so that you do not sign for the box if it is damaged then we can claim from the courier, if you sign to say it is un-damaged we do not have a leg to stand on so we are airing on the side of caution.
This does not not affect your rights in any way and we will deal with any damaged or missing parts etc.
In our Terms & Conditions which you ticked to say you read & understood, under section 3 it clearly states the following and you ordered a large BBQ!!!!
'Delivery Methods'
All courier deliveries are 'kerb side' only which means they will not be able to take items into your delivery address. The receiver must arrange for larger items to be taken from the driver - heavy items will need 2 persons. A tracking number will be sent to you via e-mail when the item has been dispatched.
If you have a problem you only needed to contact our customer service dept!!

Your response to the 'BEWARE!!' review is really quite poor. Your sticker implies that the customer should not sign for the product if is damaged. The sticker should should say 'Do not sign for if THE BOX is damaged' , quite a different thing. Also I complained that part of the assembly was a 2 person job. You respond about the process of needing more than 1 person to move heavy items from kerb and avoid mentioning the assembly needing 2 persons. Your reference to the terms and conditions with your 4 exclamation remarks is really quite rude and unnecessary. As well you know few people read through all of the terms and conditions prior to making a purchase. The '2 persons to assemble' should be up front instead of you hiding behind 'terms and conditions'. I would point out that in the first paragraph of your response, where you write 'airing on the side of caution' I presume that you mean 'erring on the side of caution'

What an utterly ridiculous response and this kind of reply does neither yourself nor your company any credit. You really are scraping the barrel and you are an appalling representative for your company. I am an old age pensioner in my 70's with absolutely no connection to any company of your kind anywhere past or present and I am disgusted by your insinuation. I will seek an apology from your MD/Chairman either directly or through Trading Standards. My only satisfaction to date is that you continue to post rudeness followed by rubbish which allows prospective customers to discover the dreadful manner with which you deal with negative comments.

I now notice that you have not posted your last replies online so that prospective customers will not be able to read how utterly rude and asinine your suggestion that I represent one of your competitors. If you have ever attended a PR course you should ask for a refund.
