My delivery instructions were not followed by DHL, who claimed that they were not on the delivery slip/address. Much hassle followed before the product was finally united with me.

Your package was sent by UPS not DHL, we called them to find out what happened see below
1st delivery attempt 10th July no-one home, delivery instructions to be left by side gate was not followed by UPS as they did not think it was safe to do so as there were quite a few people around, our terms & conditions state that if the driver does not feel the item can be left safe then he will not leave it, he will leave a card which he did.
10th July customer requested change of delivery address
11th July delivered to the requested delivery address.
