The Financial Conduct Authority requires that a firm must take reasonable steps to ensure a customer is given appropriate information about a policy in good time, there is not a specific notification time for commercial insurance. To comply with this requirement we generate all our renewal notices no less than 21 days prior to renewal. There are notes on your policy that one of our renewals executives contacted the business 23 days prior to the renewal date, but they were advised you were on holiday at the time so arranged a later date to call back.
