We pride ourselves on our service and always endeavour to meet our clients requirements so I am disappointed to see such a low rating and have personally investigated what could have led to such negative feedback. Having received no expressions of dissatisfaction throughout the sale process, I’ll reply to your comments here.
I’ve looked at the sales progression records and I can confirm that we dealt with your partner throughout the sale process but would have been more than happy to update you personally as well, had we been given your contact details and asked to do so. I can see that an offer at the agreed asking price was accepted from one of the 4 viewings that were arranged, and a sale was agreed within 24 hours. Although you had no solicitor in place for 5 weeks until you arranged your onward purchase, we communicated with the buyer regularly to mitigate the perceived lack of progress and prevent the loss of the sale.
Unfortunately the sale was then lost due to the outcome of the buyer’s property survey results and I’m not sure how else we would have held on to it as neither party wanted to move from their positions. Despite this unfortunate outcome, we re-marketed the property at a higher price as instructed and proceeded to arrange a further 11 viewings and found a new purchaser within 9 days, followed by a completion date of 9 weeks later which was agreed by the respective solicitors.
I apologise that the timescales didn’t meet your expectations after the price was put up at your request, however we can assure you that we did everything we could to meet your new requirements. I hope this goes some way to explaining the process behind the sale and it remains for me to wish you and your family all the best in your new home.
